Congress reiterated the allegations emerged from the clarification of Narendra Singh Tomar’s agriculture that the government had no plans to bring back agriculture laws recently revoked, and urged farmers to be aware of “confusion” created by Congress in this issue.
The minister said that his statement about this issue was made during his speech at the Agri event in Nagpur in Maharashtra, however, had been misinterpreted and said the intention was not shown.
“I have said (at the event) we have taken a step back on agricultural laws but the government will always move forward to work towards the welfare of farmers.

“Three black laws for farmers and farmers in this country, which have made the government subdue with their agitation of more than 380 days and sacrifice 700 farmers,” he said.
“The government subdued only because their defeat was clearly seen in Uttarakhand, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.
