The government ‘insulted’ farmers, it must revoke agricultural laws: Priyanka Gandhi

New Delhi: After the center said it did not have a record of farmers who had died during agitation at the Delhi border against three Agri laws since 2020, the leader of the Congress of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Sunday accused “insulting” farmers and demanding that it must be Revoke the law.
Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar informed the parliament on Friday that the government had no record of farmers who had died during agitation at the Delhi border against three new agricultural laws since last year.
“The BJP government said in parliament that there was no effort to determine the opinion of farmers about three Agri Black laws also did not have data about how many farmers were martyrful,” Priyanka Gandhi said.
Alleged that the government was looking at this problem from the prism “billionaire friend”, Secretary General of Congress said this government “constantly insulting farmers”.
He made a comment on Tweet in Hindi using the Hindi hashtag that was translated to “take back black farm law”.
Farmers, especially from Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, have camped at the Delhi border since November last year protested three laws.
From them, a small group of 200 farmers now held protests at Mantar in Central Delhi after getting a special permission.
