New Delhi: The government has invited applications for the Head of the Economic Advisor (CEA) to replace K V Subramanian, who will complete the ten-year term next month.
Subramanian was appointed as CEA on December 7, 2018, while he assumed costs on December 24 in the same year.
In accordance with public notification on October 24 issued by the Department of Economic Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the Central State Officer, the State Government, the RBI and the Public Sector Bank who hold post analogues regularly in the cadres or parents’ departments are eligible to submit a post.

Candidates from recognized universities or recognized research institutions or registered private agencies and private institutions or financial institutions meet the requirements, he said.
With regard to educational qualifications, he said, a candidate must have a master’s degree in the economic or financial sector of universities or recognized institutions.
For the appointment of this contract, candidates must have six years experience in economic research or provide economic advice or evaluation of economic reforms including one-year administrative experience in the Central Government or state government, he said.
“The election committee has the right to invite and choose a list of suitable individuals from outside the list of applicants to post,” he added.
The last date for application submission is 20 days from the date of advertising publication.
The maximum pipe age for applicants is 56 years.
However, advertisements have not provided the right term for appointments.
Vacancies come at important times when the economy comes out of a decline induced by a pandemic.
The most important task before the new CEA, if appointed next month, will prepare an economic survey to be submitted in parliament on the last weekday.
