The government is ready to provide peace opportunities to militants who want to avoid violence: Fawad Minister Chaudhry

Islamabad: Pakistani Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said on Tuesday that the government was willing to provide an opportunity to make peace for militants who were willing to avoid violence and accept the constitution.

It was said in the briefing that TTP had to attend the constitution, surrender weapons and made the activist registered in the National Data Base Registration Authority (NADRA) to obtain a national identity card, according to the source.
TTP also in a statement has acknowledged that the ceasefire throughout the month was agreed on November 9 during talks with the government, which was under the mediation of the Afghan Taliban.
Chaudhry said on Monday that the ceasefire had been achieved between the government and militant groups was prohibited.
In his press direction, the minister said that the new government in Afghanistan wanted Pakistan to negotiate an agreement with TTP.
“We believe new authorities in neighboring countries want peace in Pakistan,” he said.
Speaking of Afghanistan, the minister said Pakistan would not accept the Taliban government until all regional forces agreed to recognize the new Afghan government.
But he added that Pakistan will continue to provide assistance.
He also said that the cabinet decided to form special funds to help Afghanistan to overcome the towering food crisis.
Chaudhry also announced that Pakistan will send enough grain and rice to Afghanistan and also cut all taxes on the import of Afghanistan.
