New Delhi: The center has raised concerns over low vaccination coverage in Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur and Puducherry.
Three northeastern countries have coverage of less than 60% of the first dose, while the Puducherry has 66% of adult populations vaccinated with at least one dose, which is much lower than the total 82% of the first dose coverage in India.
Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya held a review meeting with UTS on Monday and urged them to start an aggressive campaign to expand coverage.
He suggested Roping on all stakeholders, including NGOs, religious leaders, and others to motivate and mobilize all people who qualified for full vaccination.
