The government is to tighten J & K security after the Taliban takeover

“Even lower local recruitment this year compared to 2020,” said senior government officials to TOI after the meeting.
As part of a development review, the meeting was recorded with satisfaction that 17 central schemes had reached 100% saturation in UT.
Also, the meeting was told that J & K industrial policy has so far shared an investment of a number of rs 25,000 crore to UT, where RS 12,000 Crore is for the Kashmir region.
