New Delhi: Records an increase in infiltration to Jammu & Kashmir by terrorists from Pakistan, and the possibility of several sophisticated weapons abandoned by US forces in Afghanistan find their way to the hands of Jail-e-Muhammed and Lashkar Fighters e-Taiba in J & K, the center has decided to tighten the border network.

As part of a development review, the meeting was recorded with satisfaction that 17 central schemes had reached 100% saturation in UT.
Also, the meeting was told that J & K industrial policy has so far shared an investment of a number of rs 25,000 crore to UT, where RS 12,000 Crore is for the Kashmir region.
