The government must save lake or nature will reply: Telangana HC

Hyderabad: emphasizes the importance of state obligations to protect natural resources, the Telangana High Court on Wednesday directing Nirmal District collectors to provide details of the steps taken to protect the lake bed area in Nirmal City.
“If we do not act on the encroachment of lakes today, nature will act tomorrow and have its own way to regulate the right things.
Last year’s decline from Warangal City is a classic example of this,” Judicial bench Rajasheker Reddy and Justice T Vinod Kumar.
The bench is hearing the pill proposed by K Anju Kumar Reddy of Nirmal questioning not acting official even though there are widespread encroachment from the full tank (FTL) and buffer-zones of various lakes in Nirmal.
HC said that the right time when the revenue authority saved the lake bed area record in the illegal land registers in the sub-registration office instead of making stress on such a private register.
Reminisolic collectors that the electric substation also appeared in the Lake FTL, Bench said, “If the country itself sets facilities like that, then ordinary people will tend to think that it is legitimate to occupy the lake bed.” The bench shows the danger of keeping water and electricity together, and says that the authorities must immediately act to pay attention to encroachment and not wait for decades to act.
After the previous direction of the court, the Nirmal collector Musharraf Faruqui has submitted a written statement about the district administration efforts to survey and consume 12 lakes.
“We found encroachment at 8 lakes and tanks.
They are community encroachment and individual encroachment.
Community space, temples, slaughterhouses, etc.
Built in FTL from several lakes.
We are in the process of eliminating illegal structures.
We have even deleted some layouts that are illegal in the buffer zone, “said the collector.
Recording the existence of the district collector in front of the court, the bench said that the court was not interested in summons and they would rather have bureaucrats in the field to do their work.
The bench delayed this case until October 25.
