The Government of Karnataka began a survey of Bangla SC Migrant

MySuru: The State Government has conducted a survey to find out how many caste immigrants scheduled Bangladesh have lived in various districts to recommend their inclusion in the SC list.
According to a circular issued by Dr.
Br Ambedkar Research Institute, Bengaluru, recently, all the Directors of the Joint / Deputy Department of Social Welfare have been directed to develop a population of SC migrating from Bangladesh.
A copy of the direction issued for the social welfare authority in Chikkamagaluru is with Stoi.
According to him, Data Namashudra, Poud / Poudra, and the Rajabamshi caste population included in the SC community were searched.
The clerk has been ordered to compile the data and send it to the Institute.
According to the authorities, in many marks of the Malnad area, the exercise was completed.
However, there are no populations / caste families found in one of these Taluk.
‘Waiting report’Pratisibha, director of the research institute, said the Institute had not received reports from the district.
“Previously, one such exercise was done in Raichur Regency.
To find out the pop population that has migrated from various places, this exercise has been taken.
If we find a pop population, we will extend it the necessary support,” he said.
Samarasya Vedike Convener Vadiraj told this exercise expected to help those who lived in the camp after migrating from Bangladesh during the 1971 war.
“In Karnataka, such camps opened in Sindhanur in the Raichur district.
They struggle to get Indian citizenship.
Those who live in These camps are now scattered in many places, “he said.
