Ludhiana: Minister of Transportation Punjab Amarinder Singh King Garring on Tuesday announced that the state government will soon send a proposal to the naming center of the Halwara International Airport after Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha as award to the legendary revolutionaries at the age of 19.
He led the state-level function held to commemorate the 106th Sarabha Martyrdom in his ancestral village.
On the suggestion of the leader of the Senior Captain Captain Sandeep Singh Sandhu, the minister of the Cabinet assured that the new bus holder Dakhha would also be named after the youngest martyr from the country and the proposal in this case would be taken at the Tuesday cabinet meeting.
He also announced daily bus services from Punjab Roadways from Ludhiana to Sabarha Village and Hospital 10 Lakh grants for the development of the hamlet of their discretionary funds.
Captain Sandhu thanked the Cabinet Minister to receive the demand for sending proposals to name Halwara International Airport and Dakha Bus Stand in the name of the martyr.
Then, the Minister of Joint with Captain Sandhu, Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma and Ludhiana (rustic) SSP GS Sandhu visited the Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha ancestral house to pay tribute.
