‘The government provides Rs 6,000 to every family-hit by floods in Bihar’

Katihar / Patna: Cm Nith Kumar on Wednesday conducted a flood-affected area air survey in Katihar and Purnia and examined assistance camps in two districts.
“After assessing plant damage, the state government will provide financial assistance to affected farmers.
At present, we provide financial assistance of RS6,000 to every family affected by the flood,” Nitish said.
“Our priority is to keep people affected by floods safely during pandemics.

CM also asks about medical facilities for pregnant women, alternative settings for children, vaccination and free drug distribution in camps in addition to arrangements in the community kitchen for families affected by floods.
