The official Youtube TV Sansad channel has been removed by YouTube as found ‘violating the YouTube Community Guide’.
However, a few hours ago, Sansad television released an official statement where he revealed the actual reason why the YouTube channel was removed.
As per the statement by the channel, the Sansad TV YouTube channel is compromised because of the scamster activity.
“YouTube channels from Sansad TV are compromised because of illegal activities by several scamster on February 15, 2022 (Tuesday 1:00 a.m.) including streaming directly on this channel,” the statement reads.
Sansad TV also revealed that the attacker changed the name of the YouTube channel to “Ethereum”.
The channel name is then restored by the Sansad TV social media team in the morning around 3:45 a.m.
The Indian computer emergency response team (certificate), the Nodal Agency to respond to cyber security incidents in India, also reported the incident above and warned Sansad TV.
“YouTube has started to improve security threats permanently and it will be restored as soon as possible.” The next statement is added.
This is not the first time an online channel or account regulated by the government has been attacked by scamsters.
There are several incidents in the past where hackers get invalid access to accounts managed by the government.

Twitter account from Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also hacked for a short period.
The incident saw the hackers issued a tweet from the PM twitter handle – which had millions of followers – claiming that India had “officially adopted Bitcoin as a legal tender”.
Sharing Links and asked people to “rush”, Tweet added, “The government has officially bought 500 BTC and distributes it to all citizens”.
