The government released all posts in IPS, RPF from a 4% disabled quota

New Delhi: The Center has released all postal categories under the Indian Police Service and the Indian Train Protection Force among several other services from the provision of 4% reservations in work for people with benchmark inability, taking into account the nature of the work involved in this service.
The rights of persons with disabilities of the law, 2016 provide for a quota of 4% in government work for persons with disabilities as determined.
Gazette notification also released Delhi Islands, Andaman and Nicobar, Lakshadweep, Daman and Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli Police Service from the provisions of the reservation below the action.
Notification of the Ministry of Justice and Social Empowerment stated that decisions had been taken in consultation with the main commissioners for people with disabilities, after taking into account the nature and type of work.
