Salem: The Regional Administration Minister K Nehru on Saturday urged officials to ensure that all government schemes and projects reach out of people from all levels of society.
Nehru, who led a meeting with the district government to discuss the work of developments made in Salem, said the minister’s head had mosted him as a monitoring person for the district.
“I am here to ensure that the government scheme reaches all parts of the people.” The minister said with 11 assembly segments, Salem was the second largest district after Chennai in terms of assembly segment amounts.
“The former chairman of the minister has done the construction work here at a lightning speed, because it is the district of his house.
Stalin has asked me to maintain the same speed.” TNN.
