Gurgaon: The State Education Department and Haryana Roadways, together, will launch nearly 550 buses this month in the first phase of the Government project, aiming to provide free transportation facilities to girls going to college.
This year, the state government has announced a free bus facility for female students in rural areas.
This scheme will be launched in two phases, with the second phase focused on extension services for girls studying at school, industrial training institutions and polytechnic colleges.
“The minister’s chairman has announced that the government will provide free bus services for all women’s college.
In Phase 1, we connect all rustic colleges on bus routes.
More than 550 routes have been identified, and the highway department will provide the bus needed for this scheme , “Anand Mohan Sharan, the main secretary, the Ministry of Higher Education.
“In phase 2, we want to expand services to school students, itis, and polytechnic institutions.
Our vision is no female students who face travel problems so they are not a barrier in the continuation of higher studies,” he added the head to complete the bus route.
Also, the general manager of the highway will arrange monthly reviews meet in each district to track the progress of work and take action to expand the scope of coverage.
In December last year, the Ministry of Education and the streets consulted with the number of students of students in rural college government.

While the transportation department has agreed to provide a bus from an existing fleet, that is, currently, is reviewing the proposal.
“We are ready to lend our support to the government for this scheme.
