Bhubaneswar: The government has decided to partner with two private hospitals with trauma care facilities outside the country for free care from injured people in the first 48 hours of accidents.
In addition, several private hospitals in Bhubaneswar and one in Rourkela have been returned by the government to provide free care to accident victims under the free treatment scheme for Fund Fund (FTTF).
Previously, only three hospitals at the State Hospital – Apollo and Amri in Bhubaneswar and Ashwini Hospital in Cuttack – who partnered with the government under the FTTF scheme.
As a notification, it displays the FTTF scheme guide, which was issued by the Ministry of Health in January.
9, Medicover Hospital in Visakhapatnam, Ramakrishna Care Hospital in Raipur (Chhattisgarh), Ashwini Trauma Center in Cuttack, JP Hospital in Rourkela Hospital, and AMRI Hospital, IMS & SUM Hospital, Ultimate Sum, Kims Hospital, KIMS Hospital, Hi-Tech Hospital, Kalinga Hospital, and the Utkal Institute of Medical Sciences (all in Bhubaneswar) will provide free care for accident victims in the first 48 hours of the Mishap.Fttf scheme has been operating since October 2019.

The government has provided a sanction of RS 147.2 Crore for five years for the FTTF scheme of the APBN, said a senior transportation official.
According to the new guidelines, the FTTF Technical Committee has been formed to see various care problems and costs, which will be replaced by the government.
The FTTF cell will function at the DMET office to monitor, manage, and coordinate smooth functions from the scheme.
Pain must strictly comply with 48 hours of treatment from the time of receiving accident victims.
