Thiruvananthapuram: To curb tax avoidance by gold traders, the government will take strict steps, including strengthening the intelligence of sales tax.
The government will also explore the possibility of installing CCTV cameras in the main jewelry shops, where it will be shared with GST offices and police stations.

The minister’s chairman asked the officials to provide incentives to officers who collected taxes, and also asked officials to explore the possibility of installing CCTV cameras in the main jewelry shops, bait from the GST police station.
