Tirupur: The state government is making a joint effort to revive the Swadaya group (SHG), said Minister M K Ken Stalin is here on Monday.
Providing financial assistance worth Rs 25 Crore to SHGS, CM said the groups were pushed into a sad state in the last 10 years.
The SHG was inaugurated by the chairman of the Minister of MIN minister M Karanganidhi in 1989 to facilitate independent women’s financial growth, he said.
Given the advantage given to the SHG when he was the local administration minister, Stalin said that banks used to provide financial assistance to SHG members during the DMK regime.
“But in the past 10 years, SHG was destroyed.
I want to renew them and therefore RS 25 Crore worthy of financial assistance is given to them today,” “he said” the government worked to lift women.
As part of that goal, the government offers a free bus vehicle for women and released loans obtained by SHG from the Cooperative Bank.
We will apply more schemes for women.
“In the last six months since DMK in power, the government has come up with many welfare steps for the benefit of people of all levels of society, said CM.” Imagine how many programs we will bring in 4.5 years our government is always open for them.
“You can contact this government anytime, whether it is to discuss the current problem, a newer or a problem waiting for a long time,” he told them.
