‘The government wants to make TN facing Indian industry growth’

Coimbatore: Chairman of the Constitutional Court of MK Stalin on Monday said the government aimed at making Tamil Nadu Numero Uno State in the growth of industries in the country.
Overcoming meetings in the government function to inaugurate a project worth RS 587 Crore in Coimbatore on Monday, Stalin said Tamil Nadu must be the face of the Indian industry.
Noting that each district has a different industry, he said the government wants to learn all these industries, analyze and help them grow.
As part of this effort, Stalin said a number of mous would be signed at an industrial conference scheduled in Coimbatore on Tuesday.
“Investment worth some crores rupees will be interested through the MoU and Lakh work to be created.
Such an industrial conference will be held regularly,” he said.

Stalin said that the government kept his promise to issue orders to establish the coimbatore urban development authority for the overall city development.

I have instructed officials to speed up the road project now, ” said Stalin.
Stalin then reaffirms the government’s commitment to implement two projects – shift in central prison coimbatore to the outskirts of the city and the creation of Poonga Poonggi – It was announced by the DMK years ago.
“Semmozhi Poongga will be established in Gandhipuram at a cost of Rs 200 Crore.
It will be done in two phases, “he said.
He said that places like Velbakanar and Chinnavedampatti, added to City Corporation a decade ago, will also get underground drainage pipes at a cost of Rs 309 Crore.
It is separate, 63 health centers will be arranged at RS 16 Crore expenditures and additional street lights will be installed in developing areas.
Government orders for all of these projects will soon be issued, “he said.
