New Delhi: The government is preparing to launch a portal that proposes to allow online application registration and tracking with safety prevention measures under “PM-Care for the Children’s Scheme.” This scheme is trying to provide long-term support to children who have lost their parents, parents who survive, law guardians or adoptive parents because Covid-19 since the pandemic obtained a momentum scheme in March 2020.

The support plan under the scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 29.

The portal will allow applicants to register and access information regarding the update on the application they use a secure login procedure.

According to the scheme, the Corpus Rs 10 Lakh in the form of a fixed deposit on behalf of the child will be made.
This corpus will be used to give them monthly allowances for five years when they are 18 years old.
This allowance will be given to take care of their personal requirements during the period of higher education.
At 23 years, every child will get the number of corpus as a lump-sum for personal and professional use.
This size is quoted as a step that will allow children to have the necessary financial support when he moves out of school and is an adult who can make decisions with their future.
Meanwhile, the National Commission for Protection of Children’s Rights has collected data sent by the state in accordance with the direction of the Supreme Court relating to children who have lost one or both parents during a pandemic.
It also includes children who don’t lose parents because Covid-19.
In the last written statement submitted in SC, the count of children affected by 30,071 and from 3,621 this orphaned, 26,176 had lost one parent and 274 children were classified as abandoned.
