The Governor inaugurated the Herbal Park in TNAU

Coimbatore: Governor R N Ravi on Sunday Herbal & Aroma Garden and Cactus House in a botanical garden from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University in the city.
Herbal & Aroma Garden is a rich repository of 150 aromatic species, herbs and medicine.
This will function as a learning center to learn about the economic value and drugs of this species.
The governor planted Rudraksha plants (Elaeocarpus Ganitrus) in Herbal Park & Aroma.
The newly opened Cacti house is another collection of almost 220 species.
He also visited the first TNAU insect museum from the type of museum consisting of more than 70,000 insect specimens including pest plants, predators and parasitoids.
