Noida: After almost a week, the Covid case has slipped under 1,000 marks in Ghaziabad because 793 people felt positive for the infection in the last 24 hours on Tuesday.
On Sunday, this district recorded the first death in the current pandemic wave and a single daily increase in cases with 2,103 new infections.
This adds more than 1,301 cases on Monday.
The test level of tests in Ghaziabad also slipped to 9.6% on Tuesday even when the district conducted 9,000 tests in the last 24 hours.
On January 14, when this district conducted more than 9,500 tests, the level of peposititution was recorded at 20.26% with 1,963 people found positive.
However, the last three days, the positive level in the district had seen slides.
On January 16, the level of participant was 18.3% (with nearly 10,000 tests), while it reached 17.7% (around 9,300 tests were carried out) the following day, said district health officials.
“The number of cases reported in the district is in the current plateau phase, which is expected to remain around 1,000-1,200 cases for the next few days and decline for the next few days.
A total of 38,000 vaccination doses (in government and personal facilities) are given in Ghaziabad On Tuesday.
This vaccination trend will also help curb the number of cases.
“Ghaziabad District Supervision Officer, Dr.
RK Gupta said.
Pangham Budh Nagar, meanwhile, also recorded a decline in the case in the last 24 hours.
On Tuesday, 1,262 more people felt positive for infection, which was a decrease of 58.4% from the previous day when 2,158 new cases were recorded.
A total of 1,498 cases were reported on Monday positive patients were undergoing treatment in various hospitals throughout GB Nagar, while 94 patients were treated because of infection at the facilities throughout Ghaziabad.
At least 15,475 vaccine doses were given at government facilities at GB Nagar and 29,630 in Ghaziabad on Tuesday, officials said.
