The GZB recorded two more covid deaths

Noida: At least two patients with comorbid conditions surrendered to Covid in the last 24 hours in Ghaziabad.
This is the third fatality reported due to virus infections in the district for the past five days, a health official said on Thursday.
The 79-year-old Kavi Nagar resident, who was undergoing treatment at Yashoda Hospital, and a 31-year-old Aadhyaatmik Nagar resident admitted at Santosh Medical College, surrendered on Thursday.
The Septuagenarian has comorbidity, such as bronchogenic carcinoma, and is hospitalized on January 12 after testing positive Covid.
“He can’t survive because of his deteriorating health condition,” a doctor said.
Meanwhile, 31-year-old patients, has chronic pulmonary tuberculosis, coughing and respiratory pressure, officials said.
On January 16, a 55-year-old Modi Nagar resident gave up because Covid while undergoing treatment for chronic liver disease at LLRM Medical College, Meerut.
With this, Covid victims in the district have risen to 466.
The district also added 1,585 new cases on Thursday, while Gautam Budh Nagar neighbors reported 1,684 infections.
The two districts have recorded the highest number of cases in the state in the last 24 hours after Lucknow, who reported 3,643 cases with two deaths in the appropriate period.
Ghaziabad, who carried out more than 10,000 tests in the last 24 hours, recorded a sample of 12.6% sample peposititivity, down from 20% on Wednesday.
While nearly 1,700 tests were carried out in GB Nagar, the level of participants remained around 22% on that day, slightly below 21% Wednesday.
According to district health officials, there were 7,446 active cases in Ghaziabad, where 6,848 were in house isolation, while GB Nagar had 8,992 active cases.
On Thursday, 30,570 people were given a vaccine in Ghaziabad, while 13,710 was affixed to GB Nagar.
