Haveri: Following the direction from the center, Karnataka launched a ‘Har Ghar Dousak’ (Door-to-Door) campaign to manage the Covid-19 vaccine.
The aim is to autoculate those who are due to the second dose and convince those who are hesitant to take a shot.
With this campaign, the center hopes partially – at least – vaccinating the entire population that qualifies.
“As part of a campaign, health workers and Asha will visit each house and will put a sign on the wall that shows vaccination status,” said Dr.
Jayanand, Haveri District RCH Officer and Nodal Offication for Covid-19 vaccination.
“They will mark CP [vaccinated homes] if all members are vaccinated and CX [because of being shot] if there are people in the family it will take a shot.

From the 11.8 lakh target population, the Ministry of Health has been inoculating 10 lakh.
In addition, 4.8 lakh people have been fully vaccinated (both doses).

Also, many who took shots outside the district and the actual number of people who had not taken the shot were doubtful.
However, Sanjay Shettennavar, Deputy District Commissioner Haveri, said: “We have launched a door-todo campaign and received a good response.
