Ghaziabad: The former Chairman of the Shiite Waqf Board of Shia adopted Hinduism at a ceremony at the Dasna Devi Temple led by a controversial priest, Yati Narsinghanad Saraswati on Monday.
Wasim Rizvi, a month ago released a book that criticized Islam, said he did not leave Islam but had been “hunted” by those who disagree with his view.

Explain his decision, he added, “I have not left Islam, I have been overthrown from Islam.
I want certain aspects of the religion to be changed but instead of introspection, they started to hunt me up.
Therefore, I chose to adopt a sanatan dharma.” Saraswati, who has several Cemara in Ghaziabad and have repeatedly made a statement targeting the Minority Community, emphasizing “Wasim Bhai Jo Ab Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi Ho Gaye Hain (who is now Jitendra Narayan Singh Tyagi)” has adopted a Sanatan Dharma “from the free will”.
