New Delhi: India-America Gita Gopinath, Chief of Economist International Monetary Fund, called for Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday.

He will replace Geoffrey Okamoto who plans to leave funds early next year.
Gopinath, which is scheduled to return to his academic position at Harvard University in January 2022, has served as Chief of the IMF economist for three years.
