The head of the selection of positive punjab elections for covid

Chandigarh: Ahead of the assembly poll in Punjab, Head of State Election Dr S Karuna Raju on Sunday confirmed that he had tested positive Covid-19.
Punjab will conduct polls in 117 legislature constituencies on February 14 in one phase.
The news about him was infected with the virus came only a day after the Election Commission announced the assembly selection schedule in five states, including Punjab.
According to the schedule, the issue of notification on January 21, 2022, and the last date of the nomination will be January 28, 2022, while the monitoring of the nomination will be carried out on January 29, 2022.
The date of the nomination was repaired for January 31, 2022.
The voting date was set on the date February 14, 2022, whereas, the calculation will be held on March 10, 2022.
