Jaipur: The Chairman of the Ashok Minister Gehlot on Thursday said that the Congress High Command will decide on the cabinet reshuffle in the state.
He responded to the media after a meeting with the Interim Congress President Sonia Gandhi at 10 Janpath in New Delhi on Thursday.
The meeting lasted for almost an hour.
The day before, Gehlot had met with the leaders of AICC Priyanka Gandhi, KC Venugopal and Ajay Maken in Delhi.
After meeting Sonia, Gehlot said, “I have given party commandments about the current situation in Rajasthan.
Ajay Maken (responsible state) knows everything when he continues to come to the country.
Now, further decisions (on the Cabinet Rejig) are handed over to the command High.
Whatever the high command will be accepted by all of us.
I just want good governance to continue in the state.
“He added that Maken would speak with Rahul Gandhi and the president of the Congress and the final decision would be taken by the High Command Party based on the discussion.
Expansion and cabinet reshuffle which is expected to specify a road map for assembly selection of 2023 in the state.
Long brainstorming sessions are held between Gehlot and the central leadership for two days in Delhi.
According to sources, Wednesday’s meeting was about a long-delayed cabinet reshuffle in the state.
“I believe that a lot of confusion has now been cleaned and a road map in the future is being prepared,” said Maken.
On Thursday at Dausa, Sachin Pilot said the decision regarding the expansion of the cabinet and other political promises would be taken soon.
The former deputy minister said AICC and the state of the state of constantly touched it as a panel formed by the President’s party more than a year ago had completed his work.
“I met (KC) Venugopal a few days ago.
We continue to hold discussions and soon the decision will be taken in connection with the organization and the government,” he told reporters at Dausa.
