New Delhi: BJP stated the highest asset in 2019-20 of Rs 4,848 Crore, while Congress reported the highest obligation in the same year, worth Rs 49.5 Crore.
According to an analysis conducted by the Association of Note Independently for Democratic Reform (ADR) of assets, liabilities and capital expressed by parties in their annual audit report for 2019-20, the assets were stated by seven nationalities and 44 countries recognized .
In 2019-20 amounted to Rs 6,988.5 Crore and Rs 2,129.3 Crore, respectively.
Among the national parties, the highest assets for TA 2019-20 were stated by BJP of Rs 4,847.7 Crore (69.4%) followed by BSP which stated assets worth RS 698.33 Crore (10%) and Inc.
with assets worth of valued Rs 588.16 Crore (8.4%), according to ADR analysis.
Assets stated by political parties fell under six main heads: fixed assets, loans & progress, FDR / deposits, TDS, investment and other assets.
During the 2019-20 TA, the national & regional parties stated maximum assets based on FDR / deposits still amounted to RS 5.970.6 Crore (65.5% of total assets) followed by Rs 1,363.9 Crore (15%) under fixed assets and Rs 946.6 Cr (10.4)%) under ‘Other Assets’.
According to the ADR report, BJP assets consist of FDR or deposit worth RS 3,253 Crore, fixed assets worth Rs 716.6 Crore and loans and progress worth RS 590 Crore.
BSP stated the FDR and deposits worth Rs 618.8 Crore while the FDR Congress and deposits in 2019-20 amounted to RS 240.9 Crore.
Among regional parties, SP has the highest asset in 2019-20 of RS 563 Crore, followed by TRS with assets worth RS 301 Crore, AIADMK with assets worth 267 crores worth RS 184 Crore.
Among the 44 regional parties, assets from the top 10 parties were worth Rs 2,028.7 Crore or 95.3% of the total assets stated by all regional parties for 2019-20.
Deposits and FDR remain the largest part of Rs 1,639.5 Crore (77%) of total assets stated by regional parties at FY 2019-20.
The total liabilities stated by seven national and 44 regional parties for TA 2019-20 amounted to RS 134.9 Crore.
Share the national party is Rs 74.3 Crore, while the regional parties sharing is Rs 60.7 Crore.
