The hijab rally was canceled, the leaders were detained in the letter

Surat: Some women and members of all India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslim (AIMIM) were held before the rally they wanted to set in Muglisara in connection with the ongoing hijab problem.
The police installed heavy bandobiast in the Muglisara area to prevent other rallies as taken by Burqa-Clad Women in the Unn region on Friday.
More than 500 women joined the rally while others were planned at Muglisara on Saturday.

“We are planning a rally to protest the prohibition of headscarves in educational institutions in Karnataka.
Our constitution gives us the right to wear whatever we want and no one can forbade us,” Pathan said.
The leaders of Aimim claimed that they had sent a message to members after the police refused to give permission to rally but many did not accept it and continue to reach Muglisara on Saturday.
