Surat: Some women and members of all India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslim (AIMIM) were held before the rally they wanted to set in Muglisara in connection with the ongoing hijab problem.
The police installed heavy bandobiast in the Muglisara area to prevent other rallies as taken by Burqa-Clad Women in the Unn region on Friday.
More than 500 women joined the rally while others were planned at Muglisara on Saturday.
However, the police did not give permission for heavy rally and bandobiats installed in Muglisara and its surroundings.

“The leaders of AIMIM will hold Dharna on the Statue of Mahatma Gandhi as permission for the rally rejected.
But the police did not allow it and detain us,” Pathhan said.
He and the other Aimim leaders were released at night.
The majority of women who reached the place left after police request; However, several groups of women refused to be detained.
“We are planning a rally to protest the prohibition of headscarves in educational institutions in Karnataka.

The leaders of Aimim claimed that they had sent a message to members after the police refused to give permission to rally but many did not accept it and continue to reach Muglisara on Saturday.
