The house collapsed in the old Delhi, 2 dead boys

New Delhi: Two brothers and sisters, aged seven and 12 years old, were killed and two others, including the mother of a son, injured when a three-story building collapsed in the Delhi bath Sabzi area on Monday.
A firefighting official said construction work was in a shop on the ground floor of the building, and the electric and hammer engines were being used.
“The building was weak and it appeared that the vibration of the machine contributed to the collapse,” the official said.

The police identified the dead as Somya (12) and his brother Prashant (seven).
The family lives in the neighboring Roshanara area.
“Mother of the boy, Ayushi (32), along with the owner of the Store Paan, Ramji Das (72), was taken to hospital for treatment,” police official said, adding that children received a severe head injury.
The residents of the region said the woman bought several household items from the store when the building collapsed.
In accordance with the fire department, about seven tenders rushed for rescue operations.
Shriniwas, assistant commander, NDRF, said, “About 1.50 afternoon, we found the body of one of the boys.
The other boy was taken from the debris five minutes later.” Two NDRF teams were involved in operation.
Rajeev Anja, who lives in the building, said that the first three floors belonged to his family.
“One month back, a man bought a shop on the ground floor.
He did some construction work and we had warned him about vibration in the building, but he failed to pay heed,” he said.
Anyeja’s nephew, Arya, was in the building when he fell, he miraculously fled.
“Fortunately, most of my families were not in the building.
One of my brothers was received at the hospital and other family members had gone to see him.
My mother went to the pharmacy,” She said, adding that 12 people lived on three floors of the house.
DCP (North) Anto Alphonse said the police had registered a further case and investigation.
“We will take action against the perpetrators.” He said.
Cases under Section 304, 288 and 34 IPCs registered at One Mohak Arora, which has a construction shop on progress.
“During the investigation, we have found that some structures are moved on the ground.
