Pune: A woman who claims to be a call center executive who is suspected of deceiving the Saudagar-based Human Resource Manager (HR).

The 42-year-old woman, the victim, told the police in his complaint on Wednesday that the telecaller told him that he had not paid an annual fee for his credit card.
The caller said the card could be blocked.
“The caller asked the victim to share the details of his two bank accounts, along with a credit card, so he could facilitate the payment process if the victim was busy with his work,” said Inspector Sunil Tambe from Police Sangvi.
“Instead of verifying the details of the call, the victim shared the details of the bank and card.

The police have registered a case of cheating on the suspect and also requested the provisions of the Information Technology Act.
