Noida: The body of a 32-year-old man has been found with a bullet shot at the head in a flat in Greater Noida Uttar Pradesh, police said on Monday.
The body was found on Sunday night on a multi-storey community in the Surajpur area, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Noida Central) said Harh Chander.
“The deceased has been identified as Pawan aka Jassi who lives in a flat rent.
Before him, the police sub-inspector has hired this flat.
Si has moved from the flat after his transfer,” said DCP Chander.
“In accordance with the information gathered so far, Pawan sometimes comes to stay in this flat.
On Saturday also, he came there with some friends and thought they were drinking.
Bottles of liquor had been collected from the flat,” he said.
The officer said the body was found on Sunday night with a bullet injury in the head.
The state-made gun has recovered from the place and the police investigated cases of all angles, including murder and suicide.
A pine has been registered in a case based on complaints from the Pawan family of three charges and several police teams have been formed to investigate death, he added.
