Motihari: Bootleggers in the Champaran District of East State Dry Bihar was stabbed to death of a Waran Junior IAF (JWO) officer in his village on Friday.
Aditya Kumar (37) was stabbed after he allegedly opposed the movement of vehicles carrying the country’s liquor on his farm.
He was taken to the hospital but the doctor said he died on arrival.
The body is given to his family after an autopsy.
His father had submitted a quarter against six people.
He said his son had returned from his station at Amritsar.
“About 10 illegal state liquor producers violated our agricultural land limit on Friday night.
They brought drum liquor on trolleys.
When we protested, they stabbed my child.” He said the defendant had run an illegal liquor manufacturing unit for two years.
