Coimbatore: City Corporation has taken work to deliver a stretch between Pandal-Maheswari Nagar Bridge and Vilankurichi Bridge in Vilankurichi Road at a cost of 5.28 Crores under the Tamil Nadu Sustainable Urban Development Project.
Electricity V Senthil Balaji inaugurated work on Saturday in front of GS Sameran District collector and Deputy Commissioner City Corporation M Sharmila.
The 2.96km stretch was broken a few months ago, when the work put the LPG pipe done.
While regular passengers and locals have taken problems with City Corporation several times, officials have just leveled uneven road surfaces to relieve them.
