Berlin: The incidence of Germany measured the number of new Koronavirus infections per 100,000 people for the past seven days soaring until 201.1 on Monday, a record because the pandemic erupted more than a year ago.
That number, published by the German Robert Koch Institute (RKI), surpassed the latter, which has reached December 22, 2020.
While more people in the country have JAB than at the time, the level of vaccination has stagnation below 70 percent, with Officials begged in the last days for the population to get Jab.
“For those who are not vaccinated, the risk is high so they will be infected in the coming months,” warned the head of RKI Lothar Wieler on Wednesday.
In the eastern state of Saxony, where the incidence rate is more than double the national average at 491.3, people who are not vaccinated against new restrictions from Monday.
Access to indoor dining areas and other indoor events will be limited to those who are fully vaccinated or can show evidence of recovery.
New rules are limiting the heaviest countries in Germany towards people who are not inoculated.
Only children and those who cannot receive Jab for medical reasons will be excluded.
The surge in German cases came with the state in political limbo after September general elections.
The incoming coalition parties, which aim to form a government in early December, have so far put aside JAB mandatory and say there will be no new lock – at least not for vaccinated.
