Nagpur: With 94 tigers and 310 deadly leopards in the past six months, the alarm is being raised in a number increase.
During the same period last year, 56 tiger deaths were recorded in accordance with data recorded by the official website of the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA).

Karnataka recorded 11 deaths, Uttar Pradesh (9) and Uttarakhand (8).
These are the top five states that report most of the tiger deaths.
Maharashtra forest officials claim 23 tigers have died in the past six months.
However, WPSI data also included cases of wildlife crime which recently broke out where Tiger’s body part was confiscated from several accused in the Chandrapur district.
Likewise, 310 leopards have been reported in the past six months.
Maharashtra sustained a graph in the country with 95 leopard deaths, with 50% of them dying in an accident on the road.
MP was the second highest with 41 deaths, followed by Uttarakhand (38), Rajasthan (24), and Jammu & Kashmir (20).
