New Delhi: The Indian Armed Forces are ready to deal with security challenges, and the steps taken to increase synergies between three services will increase their overall ability, the defense chief of the Bipin Gen Treatment said on Friday.

The defense chief of staff spoke at an event to mark the 75th anniversary of Indian independence being celebrated as ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.

As per the plan, each of the theater orders will have an army, navy and air force and all of them will work as a single entity to maintain security challenges in certain geographical areas under the operational commander.
At present, the Army, Navy and Air Force have separate orders.
Initially, a plan had been cultivated for the creation of air defense command and maritime theater command.
In a short address, the Chief of Staff defense also remembers Mahatma Gandhi and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose for their leadership role in the Indian independence movement.
