The Indian team fell 5 in the WTC standings after losing Newlands

New Delhi: Losing seven Gawi India to South Africa in the third test that determines this series has cost the top four places as Virat Kohli and his men slipped to fifth position in the world test standings.
India, runner-up from the first edition of the WTC, is currently placed fifth in the second cycle with a percentage of 49.07 Won (PCT) points, which are calculated than points obtained.
India has played nine tests in the second cycle of WTC, won four, lost three and drawing two.
They have 53 points, the highest among all teams so far.
After the second test, India was in fourth place with 55.21 PCT and South Africa was one slot behind with PCT 50.
But victory in the Newlands test has helped South Africa (66.66 PCT) rise to fourth place.
At present, Sri Lanka leads the standings with 100 PCTs followed by Australia (83.33) and Pakistan (75).
The New Zealand champion appeared, which draw a series of two matches with Bangladesh at home earlier this week, was placed sixth with PCT 33.33.
