The intensity of rain reduce: Panchganga level dips

Kolhapur: The intensity of rain in the floods in Maharashtra Regency was reduced on Saturday afternoon, which led to a little falling on the surface of the Panchganga River, officials said.
However, at 55.2 feet, the river still flowed far above the danger, which was 43 feet.

Meanwhile, residents living in areas near the Panchganga River are being evacuated to safer places by the National Disaster Response (NDRF) and local officials.
Cholhapur Police Shailesh Balkawde said the highway Mumbai-Bengaluru near Shiroli Village continued to remain closed for vehicle traffic due to water accumulation on the road.
Raigad’s parts, Ratnagiri District in the Coastal Konkan and Kolhapur Regency in West Maharashtra, have been affected by the flood.
In addition, heavy rains have pounded the parts of the Satara district.
