Islamabad: Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehermood Qureshi on Monday said the international community must remain engaged to Afghanistan, confirm that Islamabad will continue to play the facilitative role to bring political settlements in torn neighboring countries, which have been taken over by the Taliban.

There is a clear international convergence in supporting the peace process and reconciliation in Afghanistan and it is very important for all world leaders to unite for inclusive and comprehensive political settlement in the country, Qureshi said.
He said the meeting with the political delegation of Afghan leaders led by Qanoononi, all of which had vital interests in the country’s future, occurred at a very critical time.
