The Apple iPhone model can be equipped with a 48MP camera lens next year and a periscop lens in 2023.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that this iPhone camera upgrade would help increase the market share, income, and profit of Taiwan’s precision market.
According to him, a 48MP camera will be limited to the iPhone 14 Pro model.
It will offer 8K video recording on the iPhone which currently offers 4K video recording.
This high-resolution 8K video will also be suitable for views on the Apple AR / VR headset, he added.
Apple is expected to launch the AR / VR headset next year.
In the previous report, Kuo said that the iPhone 14 Pro model might come up with support for 48MP and 12MP output.
Apple is said to use the binning pixel process to achieve the same thing.
This technology has been used on Android smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Using the binning pixel process, the iPhone 14 Pro model might be able to photograph 48MP photos in bright conditions and 12MP photos in low conditions.
In the research record today with TF International Securities, Kuo said that at least one iPhone 15 model might come with a periscop lens in 2023.
It will allow an increase in optical zoom on the iPhone.
