Pune: Minister of Home Maharashtra Dilip Walse-Patil on Friday ordered an investigation after the audio clip where a female police officer was allegedly asked to buy Biryani without paying viral.
In the video virus on the social media platform, IPS officers, reported from the rank of deputy commissioners, asked for a few restaurants in the jurisdiction of the Vishrambaugh police station to sell good biryani, and therefore, ordered to get chicken and other goat meat and other famous local restaurants.
According to the news agency, the officer also asked, “Do we have to pay for these things in our jurisdiction?” And said, “You manage it or ask the police beat to handle it …
Do you want me to talk to him?” He was reported to notify his subordinates to talk to the local PI (police inspector) if the payment problem appeared.
Meanwhile, reacting to this problem, Patil said he had asked Commissioner Pune Policy to investigate this issue and submit a report.
“I heard the audio clip and it was a serious problem.
I have asked the police commissioner to conduct an investigation and submit a report.
After that the government will take appropriate action,” PTI reported.
Agency added that talking to Marathi news channels, officers claimed that audio clips had doctors.
“This is a conspiracy for me.
There are several police personnel who have posted in the same zone for several years.
Their financial interests are involved here in the zone,” he thought.
