Ranchi: Indo-Tibetan Border Police Unit (ITBP) deployed at Jharkhand has welcomed the Ayushman CAPF scheme launched by the center, saying that it would be a moral booster for personnel involved in challenging Maoist work.
At present, the ITBP battalion has a head office in the Sukurhuttu area of the Ranchi district.
Although this unit was mainly involved in carrying out anti-extremist operations in Rajnandgoan in Chhattisgarh, the personnel were also involved in legal and order tasks, including anti-naxal operations in Jharkhand and if needed.
