Srinagar: PDP President Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday said the crisis in Jammu and Kashmir needed a political solution.
“The crisis in J & K requires a political and non-military solution,” Mehbooba tweeted.
Mehbooba reacted to the report of the fresh spread of paramilitary arms armed central in Kashmir after the target of civilian murder by militants for the past six weeks.
“Even after converting J & K to the military garrison, additional troops were taken to Kashmir.
Whatever the respiratory space owned by people here is strangled and taken over all with a security pretext,” he said.
