The ‘Kannada Kunaguru’ book was released in Hindi, Marathi

Hubballi: The end of Tontada Siddhalinga Mahaswami from Tontaranya Mutt (GADAG) is very popular as ‘Kannada Swamiji’, thanks to its contribution to Kannada’s language and land.

Now, the Hindi version of ‘Maha Manavatavadi Dr.
Tontada Siddhaling Swamiji’, a Kannada book published a year ago, was released in Gadag on Saturday.
Marathi translation from ‘Kannada Kunaguru Dr.
Tontada Swamiji’ will be released on October 20 to coincide with the warning of Swami’s third arrival.
Shivanagouda Goudar, Secretary of Tontaranya Mutt, told Stoi that around 30 books were written by different writers about Swami’s life and contributions in the last three years.
“Some of them are translated into other languages ​​such as Hindi and Marathi.
Apart from our organization, mutt and other institutions also publish books about him,” he added.
Prakash Girimallanaavar, author of Kannada Book ‘Kannada Kunaguru Dr.
Tontada Siddhalinga Swamiji’, said his work was published in November 2018 (a month after Swami’s death).
“Sondur Viraktamath Swami published it through his mutt.
Now, the second edition is under print.
In addition to his biography, he also has anecdote.
I am happy to be translated into Marathi,” he said.
Dr.
Shalini Shrishel Dodamani, who translated the book to Marathi, said he had met Swami on many occasions and found him to be nice to the poor.
“Known as ‘Swamiji Library’, he spread the philosophy of Basilva throughout the world.
His social work surpassed religion, caste and other obstacles, and he had reached Dalit and oppressed.
He was also popular in Maharashtra, where the basilva philosophy was followed by lakh people.
Marathi’s book was published by Dr.
Tontada Siddhalinga Swamiji Sahita Pratisthan (Beleagavi), “he said.
Dr.
Bhalachandra Jayashetty, author of ‘Maha Manavatavadi Dr.
Tontada Siddhaling Swamiji’ (Kannada) last year, and in Hindi now, said he had given further details in Hindi.
“Swamiji’s works are read well by Kannadigas, so the details are known to them,” he added.
