The Kerala Government recovered Saturday as a working day after drawing strict locking steps

Thiruvananthapuram: After pulling at night at night and tight locking steps on Sundays, imposed after the increase in Covid-19 cases in the state, the Kerala government on Tuesday decided to recover Saturday as a working day, wherever it applies.
“All employees are instructed to report assignments (on Saturday) therefore,” commands issued by the Disaster Management Department.
It was said that on August 4, all government offices, government-quasi, public sector businesses, companies, autonomous bodies, and commissions were allowed to work from Monday to Friday with full presence.
“After assessing the current Covid-19 scenario and restrictions imposed in the country to contain the same, the government is happy to recover Saturday as a working day, wherever it applies,” he added.
Given relaxation in the limit of Covid-19, the state government also decided to restore biometric entry systems from September 16 for the government, semi-government, and the public sector.
