Indore: Minister of Tourism MP Usha Thakur on Saturday said the country had released 70 Bighas “bulled by missionaries” in Mhow.
“They have expanded their boundaries and established a cross in the Khurda area,” said Thakur at a press conference, adding that Anganwadi, a cow protection and a group of Selfhelp women was being formed there now.
The minister said a strong law had been applied in the state to stop religious conversion.
“Religious conversion is equivalent to converting the nation.
Such malicious incidents will not be permitted,” he said.
The bishop of Indore Diocese Dr.
Chacko Thottumarickal said, “I am not aware of any illegal land acquisition in Khurda.
There is no conversion that occurs.”
