Kolkata: The writer Bengali leading Buddhadeb Guha died on Sunday.
He is 85 years old.
In accordance with family members, Guha died of post-covid complications at a private hospital here after a massive heart attack.
He was hospitalized earlier this month after complaining with shortness of breath and urine infection, they said.
He has contracted Covid in April.
Bengal West Cm Mamata Banerjee struck Guheh’s death, described it as one of the most important writers in the Bengali literature whose death would leave emptiness.
The key works include ‘Madhukari’, ‘Koeler Kache’ and ‘Sobinoy Nibedon’, among others.
Accountants who were successfully mapped, Guha was also a famous classical singer and an advanced illustrator.
Many of his contemporaries harm his death.
