Nagpur: Regardless of the Level of Positivity of the Weekly Covid Test (TPR) 19 decreased to 0.31%, the district will continue to face limitations for the fourth week in a row.
The state government has not acted on proposals for relaxation in activities and increasing time.

Quoting a decrease in weekly TPR, occupancy of oxygenated beds and active cases, the Regional Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has been on July 9 to send letters to the government asking for more activities and increasing time from 4pm to 8-10 nights in the district.
Officials from the Collector’s office and NMC told TII that government approval was needed for relaxation from Level-3.
The government has made it mandatory for all districts to follow Level-3 restrictions even if TPR weekly is below 5% from June 28.
This district weekly TPR is below 5% since last week.
It was 0.41% when the district adopted Level-3 restrictions in the last week of June.
The next TPR fell to 0.38% and 0.31% in July the first and second week.
Dipen Agrawal, President Room Association of Maharashtra and Trade (Camit), said, “Restrictions in the midst of fewer cases have increased corruption.
