Meanwhile, Greater Noida noted AQI of 328 in the category of ‘very poor’, down from 365 on Sunday.
AQI has increased in all three counties since Diwali.

At 461, this Loni AQI is the highest on Monday, followed by Sanjay Nagar with AQI of 441, Indirapuram with AQI of 438 and 433 Vasundhara by AQI.
Meanwhile, in Noida, Sector 62 pollution monitoring stations recorded the highest AQI 442.
According to the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB), this was due to the industry and the movement of traffic in the area.
116 sectors recorded AQI of 421, followed by the 125 and 403 with AQIS of 413 and 403, respectively.
UPPCB officials also said that the level of pollution was highest at night when temperatures drop to lowest.
Noida Authority officials say that the mechanical sweeping machines and weapons smog has been arranged to bring pollution under control.
However, some residents complained that the mechanical sweeping machines are ineffective and only covers the right side of the road.
Two monitoring stations in Greater Noida AQIS recorded in the category of ‘very poor’.
The AQI in Knowledge Park 3 is 370 and AQI in Knowledge Park-5 is 388.
On the other hand, the air quality index (AQI) in Delhi and Gurgaon upgraded to ‘very poor’ on Monday after staying in ‘severe’ category for three last day.
Delhi recorded AQI of 390 on Monday, compared with 429 on Sunday.
Similarly, Gurgaon noted AQI of 369 on Monday, down from 419 on Sunday.
The share of PM2.5 burning straw in Delhi was reduced from 48% on Sunday to 30% on Monday.
Experts say the air quality touches the “very poor” category is mainly due to decrease in the share of burning straw.
